Operations prompt

Review pattern analysis

Find the operational cause hiding behind a quarter of reviews.

The problem

Reviews get read individually and felt emotionally, so recurring causes go unnoticed.

The outcome

Ranked causes by frequency and rating impact, each mapped to an owning process.

The prompt

Analyse these reviews from the last 90 days. Group every criticism by operational cause (cleanliness, maintenance, communication, accuracy, value, noise, check-in). For each cause give: frequency, average rating when mentioned, the process that owns it, and the single highest-leverage fix. Ignore praise except where it identifies a strength worth protecting.

Example output

Cleanliness — 7 mentions, avg 3.9. Owner: turnover verification. Fix: add a bathroom completion photo, currently missing from the checkpoint set.

How to run it well

  • Map each cause to a process, not a property. Property-level thinking hides systemic issues.
  • Run it quarterly, not monthly — you need enough volume for the pattern to be real.

How COOChief automates this

COOChief clusters guest sentiment continuously and links each recurring cause to the operational area responsible for it.

The Executive Brief

One decision-grade briefing, every Monday.

What moved in demand, cost and regulation last week — and the one call worth making because of it. No news roundups.
